"LET THEM BE KIDS" is an all volunteer, non-profit organization created to build community capacity on the grassroots level; while building playgrounds, skate parks and fitness parks across Canada. These projects leave a legacy of community members who are inspired and better equipped to lay a strong foundation for a brighter tomorrow.

The Elizabeth Rummel School & Community Playground Project is a school directed initiative that will replace an outdated wooden play structure with a safer, enhanced and larger capacity structure on the joint-use land adjacent to the school. The project’s scope will include further enhancements to the outdoor and field area. The intention of this venture is to strengthen our sense of community and to inspire and empower all of our residents through involvement in this project from “conception” to “installation”.

Local businesses rally around project!

Yesterday was a great day! Jodie M. Hurry / ATB Investor Services presented a donation to Principal Nancy Crosley at the school. Momentum has been building over the last couple of weeks as we get closer to the big day and there has been a great outpouring of support from local businesses, the community and beyond. We are so thrilled that this has indeed become more than a playground project and we are so close to reaching our goal!!
