"LET THEM BE KIDS" is an all volunteer, non-profit organization created to build community capacity on the grassroots level; while building playgrounds, skate parks and fitness parks across Canada. These projects leave a legacy of community members who are inspired and better equipped to lay a strong foundation for a brighter tomorrow.

The Elizabeth Rummel School & Community Playground Project is a school directed initiative that will replace an outdated wooden play structure with a safer, enhanced and larger capacity structure on the joint-use land adjacent to the school. The project’s scope will include further enhancements to the outdoor and field area. The intention of this venture is to strengthen our sense of community and to inspire and empower all of our residents through involvement in this project from “conception” to “installation”.

Summer weather in April? Lemonade stand!

Diego Perez de Camino (Gr.1) & his sister Gabi raised $39 for the playground, selling lemonade and popsicles on the river path, this past Saturday afternoon. They also gave out copies of playground project brochure; visitors and weekenders were excited to hear about our project! If you would like copies of the brochure to have at your own fundraiser, please contact Jen 678-7062.
